From here, one can admire the impressive views of the coastline, the Mediterranean Sea, and the surrounding area. The sculpture of the Virgin of Carmen, patron saint of sailors, adds a spiritual and cultural touch to this viewpoint, with its finely carved white marble, which has become one of the most special spots where devotees pay tribute with floral offerings.
The sea breeze accompanies the panoramic views offered by Peñón de Jolúcar, a natural treasure of the coastal region of Granada. This promontory is characterized by its high limestone cliffs that rise majestically above the sea. The view from the top of the Peñón offers uninterrupted panoramas of the Mediterranean and its surroundings, with the Jolúcar Hanging Walkway being a tourist attraction that allows visitors to walk between the cliff and the sea.
